The success of Bitcoin has led to the adoption of this blockchain technology in many areas such as financial market, IOT, supply chain, voting, medical treatment and storage. Faster transactions are attributed to smart contracts, which represent automated execution of transactions where terms of the transactions are entrenched in computer code that are automatically fulfilled by the software upon acknowledgement of a particular input. A shared ledger contributes to cost savings since it operates without a trusted third party, hence eliminating intermediaries. Despite the success of the blockchain technology in the financial sector, there exists scanty information on how this technology can be utilized in delivering or securing learning materials so as to improve the quality of education materials delivered over the e-learning platforms. This research paper sought to develop a model based on the Funnel e-learning model that unraveled how the blockchain technology can boost quality of education and lifelong learning. It is expected that the implementation of the developed model in learning institutions can help boost the quality of learning over the electronic learning platforms, which is in line with the sustainable development goals. // Paper ID 37
