- ItemOpen AccessIan Pringle In Cameroon(2011-09) Pringle, IanIan Pringle, COL's Media Education Specialist, visited Cameroon from the 3rd - 10th September, 2011 during which he held meetings with stakeholders of the Commonwealth of Learning Programme to expand Open Distance Learning initiatives in Yaounde, Lebialem, Dschang and Douala. Before leaving for Cape Town, where he facilitated a COL Healthy Communities Partners' Workshop, Ian Pringle briefed the Cameroon press on his trip and what he found during his visits and meetings. In Yaounde, he met with the national focal point of the Commonwealth of Learning in Cameroon, Prof. Ivo Tambo Leke, the Secretary General at the ministry of public health, Prof. Angwafo III, members of the Association of Media Health Journalists and officials promoting Open Distance Learning at the University of Dschang. In this video, Ian Pringle shares his views on what the Commonwealth of Learning is all. The excerpt of his press conference was filmed for sharing.
