    Report on the Regional Focal Points Meeting - Africa and Europe
    (2023-04) Commonwealth of Learning (COL)
    The Regional Focal Points Meeting for Africa and Europe was held in Mahe, Seychelles from 20-21 February 2023. The two-day meeting was chaired by Prof. Asha Kanwar, President and CEO, Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and facilitated by Ms Frances Ferreira, Acting Director: Skills, Mr Robert Okinda, Adviser: TVSD, and Professor Jane-Frances Agbu, Adviser: Higher Education. Official representatives from 20 Commonwealth countries in the region participated in the two-day meeting. The list of participants and agenda of the meeting are included as Annex 1 and 2, respectively.

    Report on the Regional Focal Points Meeting - Pacific
    (2023-04) Commonwealth of Learning (COL)
    The Regional Focal Points Meeting for the Pacific region was held in Lautoka, Fiji from 23-24 March 2023. The two-day meeting was chaired by Prof. Asha Kanwar, President and CEO, Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and facilitated by COL’s Vice President, Dr Venkataraman Balaji, Education Specialist: Open Schooling, Dr Tony Mays and Education Specialist: Teacher Education Dr Betty Ogange. Official representatives from Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Tuvalu attended the two-day meeting to discuss country priorities. The list of participants and agenda of the meeting are included as Annex 1 and 2, respectively.

    Report on the Regional Focal Points Meeting - Caribbean

    The Regional Focal Points Meeting for the Caribbean was held in Kingston, Jamaica from 30-31 January 2023. The two-day meeting was chaired by Prof. Asha Kanwar, President and CEO, Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and facilitated by Dr Mairette Newman, COL Education Specialist: VUSSC and Professor Wale Adekunle Adviser: Lifelong Learning for Farmers. Official representatives from Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago (remotely) attended the two-day meeting to discuss country priorities.     Report on the Regional Focal Points Meeting - Asia

    The Asia Regional Focal Point meeting was held in New Delhi, India, on 27-28 December 2022. The two-day meeting was chaired by Prof. Asha Kanwar, President and CEO, Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and facilitated by Dr. Sanjaya Mishra, Director: Education, COL, with support from Dr. B. Shadrach, Director, Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia. Representatives from six out of eight Asian Commonwealth countries (Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Malaysia, Maldives, and Sri Lanka)participated in the meeting.
