Staff Development In Distance Education: The Evolution of One Approach

Abstract
PCF3 // The International Extension College (IEC), UK, and Kyambogo University (KU), Uganda, are working together on a training programme for KU’s ODL staff, using an ODL model. This paper discusses the pedagogical and technical approach of the programme. It also examines the reasons for the success of this collaborative venture and presents lessons for the future.
