dc.description.abstract | The main purpose for monitoring the Flexible Skills Development activity is for formative and summative input to FSD activity planning and implementation. FSD is a new activity which employs a blend of capacity building methods including online training, workshops and an online community of practice. It is important to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of these methods to inform future activity planning. Initiative Managers are required to carry out a longitudinal study for reporting to COL senior managers and the COL Board of Governors. It is envisaged that this activity will continue for the remaining year of this 3 year plan and into the next 3 year plan, so it is important to have some independent analysis of its effectiveness and efficiency during the first year. | en_US |
