Abstract

This is a Portuguese translation of the original Kavya book, which contains stories collected by the Mann Deshi Foundation in India, one of COL’s partner organisations. The stories give us a look into the lives of girls, parents and community members who are responding to age-old traditions and cultures that preclude girls from having the right to make decisions about their own lives. // This book contains stories collected by the Mann Deshi Foundation in India, one of COL’s partner organisations.
