dc.description.abstract | I shall first describe the work of the Commonwealth of Learning, which is a small but dynamic Commonwealth intergovernmental agency based just over the Rockies in Vancouver. We have only been working in agriculture for a few years but we think that we have hit upon a winning formula to help farmers and landless agricultural labourers (henceforward referred to as 'farmers') improve their livelihoods in India. The approach looks very positive and may have great potential for the Commonwealth. Perhaps you can help to implement it. | en_US |
