Ram Reddy Memorial Trust awarded the Professor G. Ram Reddy Social Scientist Award this year to Dr. Sanjia Mishra, Director of COL’s regional agency, the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia, based in New Delhi. The award was presented on 17 December at a ceremony on the Hyderabad campus of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University campus, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Professor G. Ram Reddy was a pioneer of open and distance learning in India and COL’s first Vice President. This is Dr. Mishra’s lecture delivered on the occasion.	en_US
