dc.description.abstractThe Focal Points Meeting for Asia was held at Wawasan Open University (WOU) Penang, Malaysia from September 25-27, 2011. The meeting was attended by Focal Points and their representatives from Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. (Participants list attached at Annexure A). It was facilitated by Sir John Daniel, President; Prof Asha Kanwar, Vice-President; Mr. John Lesperance Education Specialist: VUSSC and Dr. K. Balasubramanian, Education Specialist: Agriculture and Livelihoods from the Commonwealth of Learning (COL). Dr. R. Sreedher, Director and Mr. R. Thyagarajan, Head of Administration and Finance of the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) also attended the Meeting.en_US
