dc.description.abstract | My topic today is ‘Scaling Schooling for the Secondary Surge: what are the options?’ My remarks are based on an earlier joint presentation made with Sir John Daniel our former President and Frances Ferreira, our Education Specialist: Open Schooling. I will first set the context, then consider the three options that we potentially have for scaling up access to secondary schooling, namely, open schooling; the emergence of Open Education Resources (OER) and the uses of ICTs. I will then conclude with some key lessons that we at COL have drawn over the last ten years. | en_US |
