eLearning for International Organisations

Abstract

The COL eLearning for International Organisations (eLIO) initiative responds to the capacity enhancement needs of international organisations through a fee-for-service arrangement. eLIO has developed a suite of online courses titled ‘Essential Skills for International Organisations’ covering a range of communication, and leadership skills. Our courses are designed for women and men at any professional level working in headquarters, country and field offices. The eLIO team also customises eLearning solutions as another way of addressing the specific challenges of international organisations. These solutions use open, distance and technology mediated learning methodologies to provide equitable and quality professional development opportunities. eLIO works internationally on behalf of COL, to share innovations and impacts to locales beyond the member states of the Commonwealth.
