Educational Broadcasting: Challenges of Shifting Paradigms

Abstract

Ladies and gentlemen, the organisers of this conference gave me the liberty to determine the subject of my presentation. I thought it might not be inappropriate to perhaps share with you some thoughts on the human development and the role and challenges confronting broadcasters of educational programmes in a Media Rich World. And, if time and technology permit, my colleagues and I here in Vancouver would like to engage in a conversation with you after the presentation.
